Virtual 2021 Earth Day Celebration - Theme "Pandemic Super Heroes"
We want to update you on the status of Earth Day 2021 in light of COVID-19. First, though, a round of thanks to our first responders, medical professionals, educators and public peacekeepers who are continuously working to keep us safe. We understand the value of Earth Day and the morale boost it would have, but we also understand that this is a very difficult time for many businesses, families and nonprofits. We will cancel the 2021 event and look forward to April 2022.
We will be having a Virtual Earth Day Event April 22, 2021 on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube social media channels. Please check in to learn about all the cool and creative ways environmental organizations around the globe are celebrating the 51st Anniversary of Earth Day. GCEC will be sharing some ways we are sustaining hope through this crisis and inviting all of you to join us on social media—everything from transitioning our flagship event, Earth Day, into a digital event available to more people than ever, we’re going to be thinking of all the ways we can support one another. Meanwhile, we are inviting you to share your stories and ideas with us. What is keeping you going right now? What kind of support could a community like ours provide? Online courses? Interviews with technical experts?
To those who registered in 2020 and asked us to keep their fee for 2021 booth space, we are offering refunds by check or allow us to hold your registration fees until 2022. If you want a refund please reply with payee and where to mail. Or, consider making your payment a donation to the Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition {501(c)(3)} and its environmental education mission.
Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Celebration 2021 is supported by Blue Ash Summit Park, Edible Ohio Valley Magazine and Natorp’s Nursery Outlet.
With gratitude and care, Chuck Lohre, Chair, Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition, 513260-9025, info@cincinnatiearthday.org

The 2021 Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Celebration canceled at Summit Park but we'll celebrate online the 51th Anniversary of Earth Day April, 22, 2021.
Normally, over 125 exhibitors, local music, local vegetarian foods, and Madtree Brewing Company’s craft beer make the festival one of the best environmental education events in the region. Typically, attendance is over 8000. Activities and presentations about environmental education will be featured at the event. Families from all over the region are encouraged to get out and enjoy Earth Day even if it's only at their local park, traditionally the first fun family outdoor event of the year!
About the Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition
The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition produces an annual Earth Day celebration. It's a community event for not-for-profit organizations, businesses, government agencies, and individuals from the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Tri-state region who work cooperatively and actively to promote the beauty and environmental quality of the Tri-state area.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for volunteers to help with the event as well as serve on our board.
